A versatile winger who can move.move . up & down the lineup may be anecessary alternative. A player like Janni Hansen would also be a lot cheaper plus signed for another season at 2.5 million. Having Gallagher, Shaw and Hansen on the team makes it a tougher team to play against.
Probably get him for a 2nd & a 3rd.

Galchenyuk is not getting moved to the wing... If they acquire a C it's Danault who moves back, which might not be the best idea either considering what he has done with Pacioretty and Radulov recently! A LW to play with Galchenyuk and Gallagher, once he returns would be a better move

Lehkonen has been very good, but I agree. If anything, another LW would mean no more Desharnais in the top 9 or most likely on the roster, wich would be a good thing for the playoffs.

Lineup would look somewhat like this :
Pacioretty, Danault, Radulov
New LW, Galchenyuk, Gallagher
Lehkonen, Plek, Byron
Shaw, Mitchell, Fynn.
Desharnais.

Shaw can move up and down the lineup, depending of health or his play. Desharnais should only get in if there are a lot of injuries once again.

I would still try to target Vanek. He might be the best option out there for a rental (upfront). Don't think Landeskog is moving before the deadline.

I'd prefer Sharp over Vanek
